About Me

My Background

I am Bishnu Hari Bhandari. I was born in Chitwan and grown up in Chitwan. I did my Master's degree from RR College and Tri-Chandra College.I ran an educational consultancy for 4 years in Kathmandu.  

I worked in non-profit organization and international non-profit org. for more than 8 years. I involved in the grant writing, proposal development, project implementation as well as a trainer of human rights, fund raising, community development, Monitoring&Evaluation and Advocacy in different organizations. I wrote grant proposal for USAID, DFID, Denida, UNIFEM and many international orgs. 
 I worked as a consultant in different organizations.  

I have visited more than 60 districts in Nepal. My visit to Jumla was really memorable. I have visited to participate the Peace Education Conference in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and  attended the United Nations Biennial Meeting  on Small Arms in New York, USA.  I have presented papers  in national and international forums on the theme of human rights, women rights, peace and security in National and International level. 

I have involved in many research works  such as ``Security Council Resolution 1325: Civil Society Monitoring Report, Media Monitoring on Small Arms, domestic violence and rape.  I have published some peace education training manual. I am still a Founder President of Protection Campaign Nepal (PROCAN),
